Chickens

Yes, we got new babys here at the L3.  Our old chickens are to the point in life that they no longer lay eggs, so we got some new ones to add to the bunch. Ok, 26 new babys.

Getting boxed up to come home!!

They should be all hens... but there may be a rooster in there, we will find out later.

Getting fed at home.

Once we got them home we put them in a small tank with food and water. They get corn meal, medicated chick feed, and two hard boiled eggs a day. They LOVE the hard boiled eggs, and it is a feeding frenzy as soon as they get the new eggs.  Corn meal is also very, very good for them.
